Women's Wellness Retreat

Saturday, Nov. 2nd - Retreat Schedule

9:00 am - 9:25 am registration/welcome

9:30 am - 10:15 am Yoga

Stress and anxiety have a way of creeping up on us as the hectic holidays approach. We will work to soothe the anxiety and quiet the mind by first grounding ourselves mindfully with breathwork to create awareness, then gently transition to slow movement to open spaciousness in the body. We will then prepare for a special closing savasana with a sound bath. Please bring a mat or towel. Blocks will be provided that are yours to keep.

10:15 am - 11:00 am Sound Healing

Sound healing is a transformative practice that utilizes intentional sound frequencies and vibrations to align and harmonize our energetic fields. Attending a sound bath offers rejuvenation by addressing emotional stress and physical symptoms. The gentle vibrations generated by the sound restore energy flow, relieve blockages, and promote overall well-being.

11:00 am - 11:45 am Lunch break - lunch provided

11:45 am - 12:30 pm Aromatherapy Hands-On Workshop

Using essential oils for therapeutic purposes is a time-honored practice, for general well-being, and relief from pain and stress. During this hands-on workshop, learn the healing properties of plants, and create a fragrant, exfoliating wellness scrub to soothe the senses.

Kathleen Schneer has been teaching yoga for 9 years with an emphasis on the slower, gentler healing styles of yin and restorative yoga. She has a heart-felt belief that yoga should be accessible to everyone and if you only have time to practice 5 minutes a day, it is still yoga.

Audrey Uchimoto, AKA Sound Baths by Aud, is a passionate Sound Practitioner. With certifications in Sound Healing and Crystal Singing Bowls, Audrey's sound baths transcend the realm of mere sensory experience, offering a transformative journey of self-discovery and healing. Through the therapeutic application of sound frequencies and vibrations, Audrey skillfully aligns individuals' energetic fields and brain waves, fostering a profound sense of harmony and inner peace. Her diverse array of sound healing instruments and tools enables her to create a symphony of harmonic and binaural tones, crafting a truly unique and deeply immersive experience.
